Workers evacuated as fire breaks out at Low Moor factory

Nightshift workers had to be evacuated after a filter unit caught fire at a Low Moor factory last night.
It happened just after 11pm at Cold Drawn Products in Parkhouse Road.
Firefighters from Odsal wearing breathing apparatus had to use jet reels and fans to tackle the blaze that broke out in one of the processing units two dust extractors and filter machines.
The machines are used to process air and iron filings.
