The first ever Annette Fox Service of Celebration and Remembrance took place at Victoria Hall in Saltaire on Saturday.
The Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund provides financial assistance to improve the comfort and care of patients with leukaemia and serious blood disorders and supports the work of ward seven at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Those who attended the service were able to celebrate or remember the life of a loved one. They sang Christmas carols with children from St Winefride’s Primary School choir, accompanied by Godfrey Nield on the Wurlitzer organ.
Personal messages were hung on a Christmas tree and there was a roll call of the names of those being remembered or celebrated.
