Young people got the chance to put questions to an author when she visited their school.
AM Crawford visited Guiseley School Technology College to promote her first novel ‘The Titan Prophecy: The Rise Of The Dark One’.
She talked to students and staff about her book and what inspired her to write as well as sharing creative writing tips and signing copies of her work.
The book, which is aimed at 11 to 14-year-olds, is the first of four tracing the adventures of two boys and a girl back and forth into the ancient world. Based on Greek mythology, it has been described as an “epic fantasy story,” and is her first foray into children’s fiction.
English teacher Robert Brown described the visit as “inspirational for budding creative writers”.
