Decision on Silsden takeaway hours extension deferred

A decision on whether to extend the opening hours of a takeaway is on hold.
Members of Keighley Area Licensing Panel want to give the owner of Tucos, in Silsden, an opportunity to attend a future meeting.
The owner, Mohammed Azeem of Cark Road, Keighley, had applied to open the Kirkgate takeaway into the early hours – until 3am on Saturday and Sunday mornings and until midnight on other nights.
The hot-food takeaway at 54 Kirkgate currently opens until 11.30pm on weekdays and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
