Bradford College has gone into partnership with a leading Asian film training company to set up a global film school.

The project, backed by Bradford’s City of Film team and the British Council, will enable aspiring film-makers from the district to spend time studying in India.

The film school, set up by Bradford College and Whistling Woods International - Asia’s premier film, television, animation and media arts institute, rated among the world’s 10 best film schools by The Hollywood Reporter - will be based in the college’s Old Building.

From autumn 2013 students will be able to study for BA (Hons) degrees in film and animation, and experience the Indian film industry firsthand on the Whistling Woods campus in Mumbai.
