A 26-year-old man caught red-handed drug dealing on a Bradford street has been imprisoned for three and a half years.
Kamil Karczmarczyk (pictured) had 30 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine in his hand, along with a £20 note, when he was arrested from a car in Saffron Drive, Allerton, on January 5.
Karczmarczyk, 26, of Hapsberg Court, Elsdon Grove, Little Horton, Bradford, was convicted by a jury at Bradford Crown Court yesterday of possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
He told the court he worked as a painter and decorator and could afford to buy drugs in bulk for his own use.
But police officers said they watched Karczmarczyk supplying drugs to a woman in the street at 11am. Karczmarczyk, who had no previous convictions for drug dealing, was a Polish national who came to the UK in 2010, the court was told.
