Controversial dog control orders planned for different parts of Bradford won high praise last night.
The Telegraph & Argus reported last week many people found the planned orders confusing and hard to enforce. They include banning dogs from play areas, ornamental gardens and Muslim areas within Council-owned cemeteries.
Councillors at a meeting of the environment and waste management overview and scrutiny committee at City Hall gave the orders their backing.
Bradford Council trio Ruth Lees, John Major and Ian Wood presented a report to the committee and answered questions.
If approved at the next executive meeting in December, the orders would come into force on January 21.
