Bradford Specsavers staff join Movember challenge

Twelve members of staff at a Bradford opticians are competing to pull in the most money by growing moustaches during 'Movember'.

Most members of the teams at Specsavers in Darley Street and in Girlington normally report for duty clean-shaven, but they are breaking that habit by taking part in the annual moustache-growing event held during November.

Specsavers employees across the UK hope to raise £25,000 during ‘Movember’, which raises vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Optical assistant Paul Garnett, based at Darley Street, said: “I hope our customers will back us as we try to raise as much as we can for some important charities.”
