Armed robbery at Bradford post office
Police are at the scene of an armed robbery which took place at a Bradford post office this afternoon.
The alarm was raised just after 3pm to reports of a robbery at the post office in Wrose Road, Shipley.
A man, said to be armed with a firearm, walked into the premises and demanded money, but then left the post office empty-handed.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured.
Armed officers were sent to the scene and the police helicopter was called in to help with the search for the suspect.
