German students join the Lord Mayor of Bradford for tea

The exchange students meet the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford
Three German exchange students met the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford for afternoon tea.
Anna Pitterling, from Dresden, and Sarah Thomas and Jessica Rossner, from Leipzig, have spent the past 28 days in Bradford as part of the Horizonte European Schools Programme.
The exchange programme, which is set up in partnership with the Council’s Youth Service, is now in its third year, and is looking to expand next year.
As well as their appointment with the Lord Mayor, Councillor Dale Smith, the trio have been taking part in a range of activities with young people, including visits to a mosque and Bradford City Football Club.
While in Bradford, they have been living with local families in the district.
