A Bradford schoolgirl will share a court with US Open and Olympic champion Andy Murray as a ball girl at the ATP World Tour Finals next week.
Serena Nash, 14, a pupil at Immanuel College, beat 2,500 children from across the country to win the chance to be one of 30 Barclays Ball Kids at the O2 Arena in London.
The tennis player, who competes for Yorkshire and is the South Leeds under 14 tennis champion, has been training for her role in the competition.
She said: “Everyone is pretty sore but the hard work will pay off when we are out on the court next to the best players in the world.
“I play a lot of tennis so to be on the same court as these amazing players will be a great chance for me to take tips.”
