A CCTV image of a man police say may have key information
British Transport Police officers are appealing for information after a 13-year-old Ilkley girl was indecently assaulted on a train.
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault (right), which took place on Sunday, September 30, between 6.30pm and 6.54pm, between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds stations.
A man sat next to her and stroked her leg, arm and back.
Detective Constable Gary Heseltine, of BTP, said, “We have viewed CCTV from the time of the incident and believe the man pictured may have key information about the assault.”
