Man arrested after fatal collision in Riddlesden

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man died in a fatal crash in the early hours of this morning.
The 33-year-old man was driving a Volkswagen car which was in a collision with a 47-year-old pedestrian in Bradford Road, near the junction of Grange Road, Riddlesden, at 3.23am today.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remains in police custody this morning, a spokesman said.
Police in Keighley are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash.
Any witnesses should contact the non emergency number 101.
