Bradford band Redwire are to appear in new TV drama Switch.
The ITV2 show is about four young women based in London’s Camden Town who are members of a witches’ coven. The show stars former EastEnders actress Lacey Turner and Caroline Quentin.
Redwire, an indie rock five-piece, were spotted by the assistant director during a concert and invited to appear in a scene requiring a live band performance.
Two tracks written by the band and featuring in the show will be available to stream through the interactive iPhone app providing narrative to the series. Redwire are currently on tour promoting second single Playing with Fire, due for release today.
