Chart stars One Direction have amassed so much cash they have soared into an under-30s British rich list – displacing Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.

The quintet – including East Bowling teenager Zayn Malik – are listed at number five in celebrity magazine Heat’s annual Rich List, with a combined worth of £26.33 million, while Grint who held the spot last year is down to seven.

Girls Aloud, including Bradford’s Kimberley Walsh, are estimated to be the biggest-earning group under 30 with a combined £35.16 million, but have been listed individually because of their individual careers.

Another Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe, continues to dominate the chart for a further year with his £53.33 million fortune.

Adele has had a massive rise, up ten places, and is said to be worth £26.06 million.

One Direction, like Adele, have become worldwide stars and conquered the US earlier this year with their debut album Up All Night.

The list is based on estimates of their financial dealings.
