Wayne Godwin signed a new three-year deal and declared: Bradford feels like home.
The lively hooker is "over the moon" at becoming the latest player to pledge his long-term future to Bradford.
Godwin arrived from Hull FC on a 12-month contract last winter but has soon impressed Steve McNamara, winning a fresh offer to stay until at least 2011.
The England international admits he set out not only to show his talent but ensure he had also joined the right club, having been harshly released by Hull and Wigan in consecutive seasons.
"I just wanted to get back to enjoying my rugby again while proving to Macca and Bradford what I'm all about," explained Godwin.
"For whatever reason, it's just not worked out at my last two clubs over the last couple of years and I wanted to get settled and stay at a place where I'm happy.
"I couldn't be more happy than I am here. The Bulls have given me a three-year extension so hopefully I've started to show what I can do and it's great to sort my long-term future."
He follows Michael Platt, Paul Deacon and Glenn Morrison in agreeing fresh contracts at Grattan Stadium.
Godwin has only missed one game so far, largely coming off the bench to replace former Wigan team-mate Terry Newton but also making five starts.
The dummy half was at his scampering best against Catalans on Sunday, cutting the Frenchmen to pieces with his darting runs and creativity.
It was a sign of the 26-year-old's growing influence but Godwin insists: "Players are always really critical of themselves and I am especially so.
"I always want to improve and work on my game. I feel I'm doing that constantly with Macca and working with Tez (Newton) again.
"He's playing me well, putting me on at the right times and I'm feeling good when I get out there.
"But that's big credit to all the lads. You're only as good as the players around you and we've got a great squad full of internationals. That makes it so much easier."
Godwin - an outside bet for the World Cup - added: "There's a lot more to come.
"I wanted to take my game to the next level and feel I can do that with Bradford and the coaches here.
"I want to win trophies and there's no better club at which to do that, while Macca's shown great confidence in me with this deal. I'm ready to repay him."
McNamara said: "We're delighted.
"Wayne came here initially for 12 months with a view to seeing if he liked us and we liked him but he's been everything we could have asked for.
"His attitude to training and games is just first class, his form's been good and we think Wayne's best football is still ahead of him so it's great we've got him for another three years."

if we got wheeldon it would be great. i believe that means he wants to play burgess at 2nd row or loose and would be very dangerous from there. but i hope to go we do not get shenton. i think he is a very poor player and is shocking in defence for cas. it would be another michael platt on our hands. he bottles it in games and ok he int too bad going forward but shocking in defence. watch him in his next game and he isnt up to the bulls standard

I think Shonny is definately a departure this year. I'll be shocked if he stays. Quality player but Union will ruin him! Shenton is decent young centre but I think the regulars will be Evans & Sykes (which isn't all that shabby!). I think we need at least two "world class" signings in the off season. A centre has to be top of the shopping list if Shonny is definately going tho. We need someone young and just as dangerous.

i heard ben harris is wanting to come back. great in defence but shocking in attack. i think someone like cooper from aus would be a great signing, strong in attack and defence. but closer to home i would make a big money signing for atkins, admit their mistake and get him back home. he is the new senior i think. strong and powerful runner and he is still very young.

Danny Washbrook is a very good young player, I hope that one's true. Ben Harris nope, he's had his turn here and didn't do enough. Atkins & Richard Moore for sure but I wouldn't blame them for saying no.
