Two taken to hospital after crash

8:41am Saturday 10th May 2008

By Kathie Griffiths »

Two people were taken to hospital earlier this morning after the car they were in crashed into a shopfront.

The Ford Escort left Leeds Road, Bradford, near the junction with Upper Seymour Street and hit some metal shutters just after midnight.

Firefighters were called to the scene but the car's occupants, three men believed to be in their late 20s, had managed to get out by themselves.

The crew gave first aid before paramedics arrived and took two casualties to hospital.

None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
