A female pensioner was taken to hospital today after being involved in an accident with a Land Rover in Queensbury.
The incident happened at Scarlet Heights at 9.40am.
The woman pedestrian suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police closed the main road between Baldwin Lane and the junction with Brighouse Road for two hours and it was reopened at 12.45pm.
Officers were called at 11.30am today to Campbell Street, off Sandbeds.
Police are also investigating an unrelated suspicious death in the same area.
