The heartwarming rags-to-riches musical, Annie makes a welcome return to the Alhambra Theatre from Tuesday to Saturday. Annie's adventure, from Miss Hannigan's orphanage to the luxurious home of Oliver Warbucks, is a story that has been told all over the world for decades. Su Pollard reprises her role as the dastardly Miss Hannigan and there’s a memorable score including It's A Hard Knock Life, Easy Street and of course the legendary Tomorrow.

Saltaire is home to one of Bradford district's most popular festivals – the Saltaire Festival, which runs from Thursday until September 18. The festival has a packed programme of events, including exhibitions, musical performances, continental markets, CAMRA beer festival, historical walks and comedy nights. Many events at Saltaire Festival are free. Tickets are available for advance purchase for all events, and most events will have tickets available on the door.
