THE finishing touches have been made to this half-term’s big attraction at the National Media Museum, the Yo-kai Watch! takeover.

The Japanese video-game phenomenon is taking over the whole museum from this coming Saturday until Sunday, February 26, with a range of events and attractions taking place at the museum over the next week.

The museum will be split into four sections, inspired by characters in the video game, with different challenges and activities in each one for video-game enthusiasts to have a go at.

These include building cardboard controllers, embarking on a hunt, and playing the game itself.

Children who successfully complete the hunt will also receive their very own Yo-kai watch to take home.

Georgina Cooke, programme developer at the National Media Museum, said: “Yo-kai Watch is a huge hit with children around the world, and given its popularity it’s fantastic to have the video game take over the Museum for February half-term.”

All attractions and entry to the takeover are free.
