Two hundred Bradford youngsters are set to ‘wow’ their audience with a show featuring much-loved songs from popular musicals.

Footsteps Theatre School is putting on a show called Wow at St George’s Hall, Bradford, featuring excerpts from High Street Musical, Footloose, Dreamgirls, Happy Feet and Kylie hits.

“It’s a lively show for all ages featuring some highly talented young people,” said principal Heidi Westman. “Footsteps is now in its 16th year. Our drama department has grown so much that they now have their own production which will be staged in the autumn.

“Some of our former students are now working all over the world, in radio broadcasting, television sitcoms and dramas and choreographing for cruise liners and production companies in the West End and shows around the UK.”

l Wow runs at St George’s Hall on July 11 and 12 at 7.15pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm. Tickets are available on (01274) 432000.
