The Science Museum Live on Tour St George’s Hall, Bradford Too cool for geeks.
The Science Museum Live On Tour show brought explosive entertainment to St George’s Hall this evening.
Brought to the stage by the producers of madhat Brainiac Live, it was zany and fast-paced.
Warned to expect to experience spectacular science, dangerous demonstrations and extraordinary experiments and audience was not disappointed.
It is the first time London’s world-famous Science Museum has taken to the stage with a mind-blowing show and it succeeded in challenging brains young and old.
Fast, furious and fun, the show thrust the audience on an exploratory theatrical adventure into the wonderful world of science.
It featured interactive sets with pyrotechnics and digital projections and the action was interspersed with web cam footage from inside the Science Museum.
Revealed to the audience was the original room where James Watt created many of his inventions now re-created inside the Science Museum in South Kensington.
Then there were also some exclusive films of some of the nation’s scientific treasures stored at Wroughton in Wiltshire including the earliest-ever fire engine and we even got a peak at some of the gems kept under wraps at Blythe House in Kensington.
It was a breathtaking journey that entertained, informed and inspired. There was masses of mind-zapping curriculum-fuelled facts fired out non-stop in just two hours.
There will be no excuse for duff marks in science this week!
