Idle And Thackley Theatre Group will be putting its new-look theatre to good use when it stages its annual pantomime next month.
The show, Puss In Boots, was originally due to run from January 28 to February 6, but the dates have now been changed to February 11-20.
The production takes place in the newly-refurbished Idle And Thackley Little Theatre, which has now got new seating, disabled access and a new stair-lift. The theatre has also been decorated.
“Our pantomime dame of the past three years has become a first-time dad and has decided to hang-up the wigs. We’re happy to welcome actor/dancer/singer Will Fitzpatrick as the new dame,” says theatre group spokeswoman Sheila Farnell.
“New members are always welcome to join us and our junior section, ITKids.”
