Fairies and fun, royalty and romance, magic and misunderstandings are all in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, staged especially for children by Shakespeare 4 Kidz.

The company’s musical adaptation of the Bard’s comedy – about a duke, his Amazonian queen, eloping lovers, feuding fairies, a naughty sprite and a mule called Bottom – has proved a hit on tour, and it comes to Bradford next month.

Since 1997, Shakespeare 4 Kidz have been bringing Shakespeare education to young people all over the UK.

“It’s enchanting entertainment for people of all ages because the most famous lines are woven into easy-to-understand modern language,” says a spokesman.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is at St George’s Hall on Wednesday, September 29. For tickets, ring (01274) 432000.
