Four members of Buttershaw St Paul’s AODS have received National Operatic and Dramatic Association long-service awards.
Anne Tonks and Margaret Shaw received medals marking 40 years, David Shinn was honoured for 30 years and Mary Benn for 25 years of outstanding service to local amateur theatre.
The society, formed in 1932, recently performed Summer Holiday at St George’s Hall, and now members are preparing for their next junior production, The Wiz, running at Cleckheaton Town Hall from April 29 to May 1.
