Members of Idle and Thackley Theatre Group are performing the comedy Shakers next month.
Billed as the female version of John Godber’s Bouncers, the play is set in a nightclub where revellers are enjoying a girls’ night out.
The theatre group’s junior section, ITKids, recently staged a showcase of the many projects the youngsters have been involved with over the past year.
The show, called Born To Perform, was devised and directed by tutors Danielle Rice, Katherine Platt and Helen Brant.
ITKids was formed in 2000 to encourage young people into amateur theatre.
Shakers runs at Idle and Thackley Little Theatre from Wednesday, July 15 to Saturday, July 18, at 7.30pm. For tickets ring (01274) 411080.
