FOR those of you familiar with the popular CBeebies children's show Mister Maker, you may be wondering how well his brand of crafty fun will translate to the stage.

When Phil Gallagher, aka Mister Maker, and his team arrived in Bradford earlier today as part of his first ever live theatre tour, anticipation was high.

And Mister Maker, along with Circle, Triangle, Square, and Rectangle, certainly delivered.

The show, which lasted just over an hour and a half, was noisy, energetic and fun, as well as being a real arty adventure.

Mister Maker's energetic and charismatic performance successfully turned the format of his craft-based TV show into an entertaining live event for all the family.

Mini-makers were invited up on to the stage to get stuck in and there was the show's usual 'minute make', as well as a big 'make' for everybody to take part in.

There were songs, both pop and a Mister Maker-version of Old McDonald, on top of a whole load of audience participation.

Who knew Mister Maker could sing and dance so well?

*Mister Maker returns to St George's Hall on Tuesday, October 27, for two more shows, at 10am and 1pm.
