Do you have what it takes to be obnoxious, smarmy, a bit of a bully, with delusions of grandeur?
If so, Millennium Stage Productions would like to hear from you.
The company’s July Production is Basil The Rat, a stage adaptation of an episode of classic sitcom Fawlty Towers.
Basil’s up to his old tricks again, leaving wife Sybil to run the hotel single-handed, with help from chambermaid Polly and waiter Manuel. But there’s a problem with the production – there’s no Basil.
Anyone who fancies having a go at bringing the arrogant hotelier to the stage is asked to contact Tony or Cathy Sutcliffe on 07949 283196 or 07939 227528.
Rehearsals will be on Mondays, starting on Monday, April 28, at 7.30pm. The show will run at Batley in July.
