Bradford band Sunday For The Suspect (pictured) have reached the semi-final of a music contest.
The band will compete against acts from across the region for a chance to play at the Leeds and Reading festivals this summer. Sunday For The Suspect are vocalist/guitarist Luke Johnson, 19, bassist Danny Riley, 17, of Eccleshill, drummer Jordan and guitarist Matt. The lads are competing in Centre Stage, a battle of the bands contest organised by the Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Acts chosen will play at the final in July in front of an audience of music industry professionals, including Mike Heaton from Bradford band Embrace.
The top prize of playing at Leeds and Reading Festivals has been donated by promoters Festival Republic.
Meanwhile, Sunday For The Suspect are playing at the PM Club in Shipley on March 3 and New Rio’s in Bradford on March 19.
