Club set to debut live sessions
4:18pm Friday 6th April 2012 in Leisure
Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin
New live music sessions have been launched in Saltaire.
The Live Room at Saltaire’s Caroline Street Social Club is the brainchild of promoters Hilary Booth and Ron Dukelow, the team behind folk and roots project Cambria Arts.
“The music room at the Caroline Street club is perfect, with a great stage, acoustics and the capacity for around 200 guests,” says Ron. “It will work well for both a seated audience and dance crowd.”
The Live Room kicks off on May 4 with the Jackie Oates Band. Other forthcoming gigs include Cahalen Morrison and Eli West, Malcolm Holcombe, Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin, My Darling Clementine, Gregory Alan Isakov and Kreg Viesselman.
