ANYONE who has seen the powerful production of War Horse will recall the haunting score played by actor musicians on stage throughout the performance.

The folk songs return to the stage in An Evening With The War Horse Songman, coming to Bradford’s Alhambra Studio next week.

Bob Fox has played the role of Songman in War Horse for the past three years, both in the West End and more recently in touring productions of the UK, Ireland and South Africa.

He performs the songs from the multi award-winning smash hit play, with additional material from his own personal repertoire, including a number of stories and songs built up from his 40-year career in the music industry.

With Bob regarded as one of the greats of British folk music, this is an opportunity to see one of the finest exponents of storytelling through song.

An Evening with the War Horse Songman is at the Alhambra Studio on Thursday, March 5 at 8pm. For tickets call (01274) 432000.
