Petunia and The Vipers
Saltaire’s Live Room plays host to one of the more extraordinary bands on the Americana scene this weekend.
Petunia and The Vipers have built quite a fanbase since first playing on British shores, and notching up a live appearance on BBC Radio 3’s World On 3 programme.
The band has flown in from their native Canada for their biggest UK tour. Organisers of this weekend’s Saltaire gig say to “expect some of the best honky tonk you’ve ever heard, alongside roots-of-country fare that is as authentic as any from Texas”.
