Acclaimed country band My Darling Clementine make a return visit to Saltaire’s Live Room next week.

With their second album The Reconciliation getting even higher praise than their debut How Do You Plead?, the band are currently on a roll.

Live Room promoter Hilary Booth said: “The reaction and feedback from the audience was so enthusiastic it was inevitable that the band would return. They’re the closest thing you’ll see to Tammy and George or John and June!”

Husband-and-wife team Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish have many years of experience in the music business. Michael, a mainstay of the singer-songwriter and Americana scene for the past 20 years, has released 15 albums and collaborated with the likes of Chris Hillman, Ron Sexsmith, Jakie Leven and Townes Van Zandt. Lou is a former dancer and actress-turned-singer/songwriter who has released four solo albums.

The line-up includes Martin Belmont on guitar and Alan Cook on pedal steel.

The gig is at Caroline Street Social Club, Saltaire, on Friday, January 17, at 8pm. Tickets are available at theliveroom.info.
