Jonathan Veira, described as ‘opera’s big man’ is appearing in Pudsey in May.
The bass baritone is no stranger to venues that hold thousands of people, but for this concert he has chosen the intimate setting of Pudsey’s parish church.
His Larger Than Life tour sees him switching from the likes of Verdi, Britten or Donizetti to Billy Joel and gospel.
As well as being an accomplished opera singer, he’s a comic raconteur.
“For nearly 27 years I have been singing opera all around the world,” he says.
