BINGLEY Music Live organisers tonight announced the days each act is appearing in preparation for the sale of single day tickets.

The three-day Bradford Council-run event comes to Myrtle Park on Friday, September 4, and is dubbed the North's last great party of the summer.

Back by popular demand and headlining on that first night will be fans' favourite James.

Friday will also feature Liverpool Britpop band Cast, The Beat and Rae Morris.

BML's setting in the amphitheatre of the Victorian park and easy access to the town's shops, bars and amenities have earned it a special reputation.

And John Power, who will be performing with his band Cast said he was looking forward to it.

"It looks like it will be a good festival with some great acts.

"We look forward to any excuse to play together, especially with how we're feeling at the moment," said Mr Power, who is in the process of recording a new album with the band.

Labrinth will headline on the Saturday, joined by Ash, Ella Eyre and Carl Barat & The Jackals.

Sunday sees Welsh rockers Super Furry Animals co-headline with Scottish Indie Rock stars Idlewild.

They will be joined by Embrace, Peter Hook & The Light and newcomers Nothing but Thieves.

Also joining the celebrations will be Radio One stars Huw Stephens, Scott Mills and Chris Stark, who, alongside Propaganda DJs, will be providing change-over DJ sets between acts over the weekend.

Councillor Imran Khan, Bradford Council's executive member for environment and sport, said: "This year's event is proving to be the most popular so far with tickets selling faster than in previous years.

"Now people know what days the headline acts are appearing, they can make an informed choice, if they want to buy single day tickets."

Day tickets are now available online at seetickets.com.

A limited number of single day tickets will be on sale at the following outlets: Bingley Pool, Bingley Arts Centre, Keighley Leisure Centre, Bradford Visitor Information Centre, Saltaire Visitor Information Centre, Haworth Visitor Information Centre, Johnson's News in Bingley, Jumbo Records in Leeds and Crash Records in Leeds.

They can also be purchased by phone on the 24-hour ticket hotline - 0871 220 0260.

Weekend tickets, available at £49 for adult weekend tickets and £34 for child tickets plus booking fee, are selling faster this year than they have in the last four years.
