MUSICAL revolutionaries Super Furry Animals are the latest headliners announced for this year's Bingley Music Live.

Organisers today announce the band will join British music legends James and the multi-talented Labrinth at the festival dubbed "the North’s last great party of Summer" from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6.

Four headliners will play over the three days at Myrtle Park, Bingley.

The band, which formed in 1993, has recorded nine albums and is probably best known for singles, such as Rings Around the World, the Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder inspired Juxtaposed with U, Phantom Power, and If You Don’t Want Me To Destroy You.

The New Musical Express once declared: "There’s a case to be argued that SFA are the most important band of the last 15 years”.
