ORGANISERS of Leeds Festival have unveiled more than 50 acts, including legendary troubadours The Libertines.
Other acts announced this week, joining headliners Mumford and Sons and Metallica, include Bingley band Marmozets, All Time Low, Bring Me the Horizon, Kendrick Lamar, The Maccabees, Knife Party and Limp Bizkit.
Indie rockers The Libertines – comprised of Pete Doherty, Carl Barât, Gary Powell and John Hassall – made their main stage debut at the festival in 2003, returning in 2004 and 2010. With their long-awaited new album in the works, their set is expected to be one of the defining moments of Leeds 2015.
“We’re all extremely happy to be playing Reading and Leeds this year,” said Gary Powell.
