TOM Odell has announced a special forest tour for 2015, which includes Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire.

Released in 2013, Tom’s debut album Long Way Down shot straight to Number One. Singles from the album including Can’t Pretend, Hold Me and the gargantuan Another Love illustrate a songwriting maturity beyond his years, resulting in his achieving the ultimate industry accolade of Songwriter of the Year at this year's Ivor Novello Awards.

Following a succession of headline tours, a packed summer of festival appearances including V Festival, Isle of Wight and a show supporting one of his idols Neil Young at Hyde Park, Tom was chosen to perform the soundtrack to this year’s John Lewis Christmas advert; the 24-year-old's spine-tingling vocals breathe new life into John Lennon’s Real Love, generating millions of YouTube views.

Tom is currently in the studio recording his new album.

He comes to Dalby Forest as part of Forest Live, the Forestry Commission's programme bringing forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife.

* Tom Odell will be at Dalby Forest on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Tickets go on sale today 9am on 03000 680400 or at forestry.gov.uk/music.
