A 1960s double bill featuring The Rockin’ Berries and The Ivy League will play together reportedly for the last time in Keighley at the end of this month.

One of the Berries last hits, The Water is Over My Head, could well go down a storm at Pennington’s Octagon Live venue if the rain keeps up.

The Birmingham band’s other notable hits were He’s in Town and Poor Man’s Son. The Ivy League provided harmonies for Tom Jones, Sandie Shaw, Chris Farlowe even The Who, releasing 11 singles including memorable chart hits Funny How Love Can Be and Tossing and Turning.

There will be an after show party, late bar and supper.

The concert is on Friday, February 28, at The Octagon, Sandbeds. For more details, ring (01274) 562252.
