• Bingley goes all festive next Saturday with the Christmas Fair & Lights Switch On at Bingley Town Square. There will be a day of activities including children's rides, Santa's Grotto and a fair. The lights will be switched on at 4.30pm by television presenter and gardener Katie Rushworth.
  • Love Saltaire shops? Find them all under one roof this Christmas at Victoria Hall. Fashion, gifts, vintage, food and sack loads more! Your Christmas shopping made easy at the fair on Thursday, from 4pm to 8pm. This is a children friendly event, with plenty of activities to keep them busy and you might just see Santa.
  • Why not take part in Scroggling the Holly which takes place in Haworth next Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a torchlit procession at a festive weekend taking place on the following weekend.
  • First Christmas Vintage & Retro Fair at The Octagon in Keighley is hosting its first Christmas Vintage & Retro Fair next Saturday from 10am to 4pm. You can discover vintage treasures for you and your home. An array of stalls selling home ware, china, glass, linens, vintage and retro style clothing, furniture, vintage jewellery, retro cakes and a whole lot more. There’s also music all day, swing jive session, vintage workshops and much more.
  • It’s a busy day across the district next Saturday with yet another Christmas Extravaganza. This time at the Police Museum at Keighley Civic Centre, between 10am and 4pm. Visit Santa in his grotto and enjoy the craft and festive Stalls. Children’s entertainment throughout the day.
  • Christmas fairies return to the Parsonage in Haworth next weekend. Find out more from Tabby, the Brontes’ servant, and learn about all things faerie (all day). Get creative on Saturday and make your own fairy for your tree (11-4pm drop in craft sessions), listen to the festival Brass Quintet on Sunday (11-1pm) or hear about Victorian fairies in folklore and art (12–12.30pm). Don’t forget that the KWVR Steam Railway Santa Specials start next Saturday.
