The Saltaire Antiques & Collectors Fair, Victoria Hall, Saltaire, next Saturday, has up to 25 stalls of quality antiques and collectables. Admission is £1 on the door, so go along, have a good browse and find something special for your home or your collection.

If you enjoy sculptures then you have until February 20 to catch the exhibition at Cartwright Hall by Glenys Barton. Foremost a sculptor of the human form, she works largely in ceramics, focusing great attention on the surface quality of each piece, experimenting with smoked surfaces and crackled glazes, and the colour and patination of bronze.

Oakwell Hall Country Park, in Birstall, is holding an exhibition of Yorkshire artists’ work, including recent watercolours by award-winning artist Leslie Children. The exhibition, entitled Art In The Barn, runs from noon to 4.30pm, until Saturday, February 12.
