To watch the films, shot with an old Bolex camera, visitors have to go inside three ramshackle huts assembled from discarded wood and salvaged building materials. On Overgrown Paths runs at the Impressions Gallery, Centenary Square, until September 5. Admission is free.

* The Orchestra of Opera North is celebrating 007 with an evening of theme music from some well-loved James Bond movies. Bond And Beyond is a concert for film fans, or anyone who fancies a night of classicial music with a difference. The programme includes themes such as Goldfinger, Nobody Does It Better, For Your Eyes Only and Diamonds Are Forever. The concert is at St George’s Hall next Friday, at 7.30pm.
