Let’s do the Time Warp again! Dust off your corsets, strap on your suspenders and fish out those feather boas as the Rocky Horror Show returns to The Alhambra from Monday to next Saturday.

The Craft Centre and Design Gallery in Leeds launches its Valentine’s and Mother’s Day exhibit, Amore, this weekend – an exciting showcase of jewellery and ceramics with a subtle romantic feel to them.

Go along to Shibden Hall, Halifax, and explore all the places you are not usually allowed to look. From the cellars of the hall, to the tower library, find out more about the fascinating history of the hall and the people who lived there. Entry is included in the admission price to Shiben Hall.

The main exhibition space at the Bronte Parsonage Museum has reopened after a major refurbishment with a new permanent exhibition focusing on the Brontes’ lives. There is also a new special showcase about Charlotte Bronte. Both exhibitions are free on admission to the museum.

If you enjoy a good walk, but don’t fancy rough terrain, then this walk along the River Aire could be just what you need. It’s a six-mile (9.6km) linear walk from Bingley railway station on Wednesday, visiting both sides of the River Aire and ending at Saltaire, where you can return to Bingley by public transport if necessary. Meet David Anderson at 10.30am outside the station.

The third annual Ilkley Beer Festival takes place next Friday and Saturday at the King’s Hall, Ilkley. This year’s event will improve on the last by offering more than 130 beers, ciders, perrys and foreign bottled beers, giving residents and visitors to Ilkley the opportunity to try beers from all over the UK. Tickets are £5, but you get to walk away with a commemorative pint glass and a programme. It’s open 5.30pm to 11pm on Friday, and 11am to 4pm and 5.30pm to 11pm on Saturday.

Mix art with a gentle stroll next Wenesday with a whistle-stop tour of several Leeds art venues, visiting the pick of the month’s exhibitions and a chance to view the pieces of work with fellow art lovers.
