From next Saturday to Bank Holiday Monday, the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will be reliving the children’s classic – The Railway Children. You can ride in coaches which appeared in the film, enjoy a guided tour and see the story re-enacted with performers in period costume.

See Fountains’ ages brought to life by medieval crafts, dance and cookery and elegant Georgian costume and fan-making. Then on Monday, at 11am and 1pm, earn how to plant seeds with Brother Rober.

Next Thursday, go along to Square Chapel, Square Road, Halifax, and have a good old sing song, as a live band and singers perform songs that were hits during the First and Second World Wars from 8pm.

Tomorrow, Otley Courthouse is hosting a free Designer Craft Fair to raise funds for the Courthouse. Open at 9.30am, all the crafts are designed and made by stallholders.

There’s another record and CD fair tomorrow from 10am at The Corn Exchange, Leeds, with free admission, when traders will be selling collectable vinyl records CDs, DVDs videos and anything music related.

Live At Leeds Festival brings the hottest up-and-coming talent to Leeds for a weekend across venues in the city centre from May 2-5. The line-up includes Albert Hammond Jr, The Hold Steady, Ella Eyre, Chloe Howl, Clean Bandit, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Blood Red Shoes and Los Campesinos.

Next Saturday, Leeds Corn Exchange is hosting a Craft and Gift Fair with stalls selling unique handmade items from independent local traders. Open from 10.30am-4.30pm, entry is free.

Animal ArkAid is having an Easter Treasure Hunt and afternoon tea at Harewood Village Hall tomorrow. All the money raised is donated straight to local animal charities. The event is open from 11.30am to 3.30pm, with last entry by 3pm. Tickets are £7 adult and £3.50 for children.
