Epilepsy Action’s very own 10k city centre road race takes place on Sunday. Starting and finishing in Centenary Square, the course is predominately flat, and closed to traffic, and it is a fantastic race for beginners and those in search of their personal bests. Start time is 9am and if you can’t take part in the run, why not cheer those intrepid people who can?

If you didn’t manage to take the family to a pantomime this Christmas, there is still an opportunity to enjoy one of the best traditional pantos, Mother Goose, presented by Bingley Amateur Operatic Society, with a cast that includes 30 enthusiastic children. This is a family panto everyone will enjoy, with wonderful costumes, great comedy and well-known musical numbers. Running from Friday to Sunday, evening performances are at 7.15pm on Friday and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are matinee performances on Saturday at 2.15pm and Sunday at 1pm.
