Enchanting Ice Sculptures will be taking pride of place at City Park from 11am next Saturday until they melt. The ice sculptures are created by celebrated local artist, Jamie Wardley and the team from Sandinyoureye. Entitled The Children of the Snow and the Boy with the Little Idea, you can follow the story of a young boy in the North Pole who plays with the magical Children of the Snow.

The Science of Winter at the National Media Museum today and tomorrow will show you how to find out how to freeze a reindeer, how to levitate mince pie tins, and make snow instantly in a fast-paced, magical and humorous science show. Suitable for families with children aged five-plus.

Join in with your favourite Christmas carols and listen to the massed choirs and brass band perform classic seasonal melodies at the BFCS Family Christmas Spectacular Concert next Saturday at St George’s Hall, featuring Bradford Festival Choral Society, Bradford Catholic Youth choir, Rothwell Temperance Band.
