On Sunday, at 9.30pm the Bradford City Run will start and finish in City Park, following a route up around Bradford University. There will be an option to run 5kms, 10kms or a half marathon and chip timing will give runners accurate timings.

The Family Learning Festival theme is ‘Out of this World’ at two Super Saturday events this weekend and November 2 in City Park. There will be events such as storytelling and arts and craft at the Park and Read Children’s Library, while family workshops on making fantastic flying machines will take place at Impressions Gallery.

The four-day Beer & Music weekend is back for another year starting on Thursday at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway at the Oxenhope Exhibition Shed. There will be live music at the stations and on the trains and more than 100 real ales.

Ilkley Complementary Medicine Festival at Kings Hall and Winter Gardens on Saturday will be promoting natural remedies and related products. Established in 1988, the twice-yearly event attracts visitors, exhibitors and practitioners from all over the country. The event runs from 10am to 5pm.

Quality vintage and retro stalls, swing jive sessions, vintage workshops and more will be at the Vintage and Retro Fair at The Octagon in Sandbeds, Riddlesden, Keighley on Saturday, from 10am-4pm.

Haworth village will go spooky at the Halloween event in Main Street, Haworth, from 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Why not follow the ‘Hawortheen’ parades in your scariest fancy dress?
