The Ring O' Bells Country Pub & Bronte Restaurant is set in one of the finest locations in Britain - high upon the breathtaking hills of the Yorkshire Moors above the old village of Thornton, birthplace of the Brontes.

Whilst living up to all your expectations as a traditional, family owned, friendly Yorkshire pub, its real attraction is that it is an award-winning Bar & Restaurant with superb and creative cuisine.

The Bronte Restaurant is an elegant and delightful, air-conditioned restaurant (non-smoking). We boast a comprehensive and adventurous wine list to suit all tastes and pockets, from our most humble house wine to"The Grandest Statement of Medoc".

All menus are also available in the bar area. The bar has a cosy and welcoming ambience and offers a selection of traditional hand-pulled beers and excellent wines by the bottle or glass, as well as a wide range of spirits.

The walls of the bar double as an art gallery, as they are adorned with paintings of local and country scenes rendered by local artists, many of which are available for purchase.

Pre-meal drinks and post-meal coffees & teas can be served in the delightful conservatory, which stands the full length of the restaurant and is fully air-conditioned allowing you to take a commanding view over the valley whilst remaining snug and warm! .
