With Halloween this Friday, Saltaire Bookshop is presenting a series of spine-tingling tales of the night, starting at 7pm.
Irene Lofthouse is hosting the evening of supernatural tales.
“I’ll be performing and reading a selection of stories including a new monologue from George Aza Selinger as well as one of Angela Curtis’s ghostly tales, a classic Saki send-up and some local tales of hauntings,” she said.
Irene has been presenting supernatural sessions for the last six years.
The event should end by about 9pm. Tickets are £2.50, refreshments are extra. Saltaire Bookshop has seating for about 30. Tickets from (01274) 589144.
