A Dress of Deep Sorrow
AN EXHIBITION at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery in Bradford entitled Here We Live features work by printmaker Ruth Fettis and includes dresses, and prints which tell stories of love and loss.
One key item, ‘Dress of Deep Sorrow’, features love letters inspired by embroidered postcards sent to Ruth’s grandma by her true love, who fought in the First World War.
The exhibition will run at the council’s gallery in Lister Park until Sunday, April 26.
Admission is free but booking is required due to limited space.
